Product Specifications
This 42" Maple Hardwood Raised Panel Wainscoting is manufactured using 0.75" solid, kiln-dried Maple boards. The standard height for this kit is 42"H and comes in sections up to 96"L. Consult our product options for the availability of additional services.

The wainscoting panels measure 29.5" high and average 14.375" wide; remember that the panel width will be adjusted to ensure you have a full-panel layout according to your room's specifications. The wainscoting frame is comprised of rails (horizontal member) and stiles (vertical member). Our wainscot stiles measure 4"W x 29.5"H. The top wainscot rail measures 5.625"W; the bottom wainscot rail measures 6.125"W. The 42" Hardwood wainscoting kit has a Ogee profile on the panel and a Beaded profile along the frame members (rails and stiles).

Wainscoting Cap and Shoe Moulding
Our 42" Hardwood wainscot kit comes standard with a Bullnose wainscoting cap (1"W x 0.75"H) and Quarter-Round shoe moulding (0.75"W x 0.75"H).

Handling
Wood swells and shrinks as it moves between areas of high moisture to areas of low moisture; the only remedy is time. Upon receiving your order, remove the 42" Maple Hardwood Raised Panel Wainscoting from the packaging for inspection. DO NOT REMOVE THE STRAPS UNTIL READY TO INSTALL THE PRODUCT. Allow your Maple Hardwood wainscoting to condition to the environment of the installation venue a week prior to commencing. It is imperative that you do not allow the components to have direct contact with the ground (including cement) or become wet.
